“I once got attacked by a bearskin rug, two days before it was a rug.” ― Jarod kintz
Today we came back from our place in North Hero. On the way home we got a call from our neighbor who went out on a walk and didn't get very far before she ran in to a bear, so she did not go for a walk. We were bummed that we could not have seen the bear because she said it came from our property. When we got home we went out to the foundation, of the 180 year old barn that we are moving onto our property. When we were done looking at the foundation. we turned around and my Mom stopped my Dad and I. She then pointed to the side of our garage and we saw the front half of a black bear and we all jumped. We then stood stock still not knowing what we should do. Then I took out my phone to try and get a picture but the bear had already gone back around the corner. When i went to see where it had gone it was way back in the woods already. I hope to get my own picture sometime soon. The picture was one that someone else took of the bear. I will have another post in a few days about the barn which we are moving.
