My Dad, my brother Reese and my cousin Sage, and I, went out early on a Cool, foggy August morning. We were going down to boat to go up to the north end of North Hero Island, which is on lake Champlain in Vermont. I had been give a fishing charter with captain mock of lake Champlain angler. After we got on the boat we went up to the north end of the island. We were going up there, so that we could fish on some dead calm wage with lots of top water action. After about 15 minutes we got to where we were going to go fishing. Once we got there we each grabbed a rod and Mick set us up with a Hedon Zara spook, which is a lure that you cast out and wind in slowly while making constant twitching motion with the tip of the rod. With in minutes we had our first fish on. The coolest part was that you could watch the fish shoot across the surface of the water then hit your lure in a flurry on action. Once we were sure that the fish was on, Mick grabbed the net and we waited till the fish got in the boat. I love the felling that you get when you have a fish at the end of your line. When you are fishing with a top water lure and you see the fish attack the lure. You most of the time imeaditly react when the strike hits, but that is mistake. Most of the time if you react immediately you will pull the hook away from the fish. If you do that up you will not get the fish, but when you do you cant explain how exciting it is to have a fish that was powerful enough to jump out of the water on the end of your line. When you go fishing or do something that you love so much that you can't explain it, you should always leave everything else behind. If you have a big paper due or if you are working on secondary school applications or even collage applications, you should forget about those things and think only about what you are doing and how much you love doing it.
